Joined Spring 2007 Captain Jaques Cottin joined Beija Flore in 2007. Having started his career in the French Merchant Navy, he has a strong mechanics background, and has held several positions as chief engineer on vessels ranging from yachts to ferries! This training and persistence, led him to be captain of MY AMERA a Canados 80 in 2005, until he joined Beija Flore two years later. Ten Years on board Beija Flore has proven Jacques to be a loyal, hardworking and reliable Captain. He is dedicated in all aspects of his responsibilities, he is popular with guests and crew alike and loves water sports! Languages: French, English Previous yacht: M/Y LAS BRISAS (Sanlorenzo 100') Chef: Corine De Mol - French Joined Spring 2014 Corinne joined Beija Flore in June 2014 and has been passionate about food from a very young age. A self-trained chef, she had assistance and advice from her close family, before venturing out and working in a Gastronomic restaurant. Her love for food, travel and the sea, led her to the yachting industry, where the ideal mix suits her dynamic personality perfectly. Languages: French, English, sign language, and some notions of Spanish and German Stewardess: Eline Stora - French Joined Spring 2018 Eline has worked in the yachting industry and in high end hospitality since 2011 and has a natural flare for “service with a smile!” A total all-rounder, and a polyglot (Eline speaks 5 languages. Eline’s previous crew positions have been as both deck/stew on M/Y Mr Francisco (30m) and cook/stew on M/Y Leonora of St Tropez, where she cooked for up to 20 guests ata time. When she isn’t on board Eline loves to travel and has completed several adventurous overland trips in Africa, Brazil, Peru, China Thailand and Egypt. Languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, English, Italian Mate/Deckhand: Tanguy Simon - French Joined Spring 2018 A trained car mechanic and body work specialist, Tanguy was initially drawn into yachting through the shipyards in La Rochelle, Northern France where he worked in all areas of yacht maintenance and repair. Soon enough his strong sense of adventure and curiosity found him taking a seasonal crew position on MY Wanda, where he experienced the true essence of the Mediterranean, cruising the coasts France, Italy, Malta and Greece, before hopping on board M/Y Eden and spending eight busy months chartering in the Caribbean. Tanguy joins the vibrant crew of Beija Flore in May 18 and is looking forward to a busy charter season. Languages: French, English |
