Manfredonia Gulf is a large gulf in the southern part of the Adriatic Sea, between Cape Gargano in the north and the port of Barletta in the south.
The coastal line of the gulf extends for more than 60 km. In the north it is rocky, where the southern coast of Gargano is often protruding into the sea, and in the central-southern sector it is sandy, where it largely coincides with the flat coastal strip of Tavoliere - dell'Pulle. The maximum depth is approximately 25 meters. Except for a few rocks and cliffs below Gargano, there are no islands. Four rivers enter the bay: the Candelaro, the Cervaro, the Carapelle and the Ofanto.
There are several anchorages in the gulf, which can be used by yachts in westerly and north-westerly winds or in calm weather. There are also several marinas.
